Re: Give me the Championship

May I suggest that the OP chooses a Championship team then and goes and posts on their board. He could witter on about how the first team should be flooded with youngsters and how their third centre half should be playing in midfield. I've just looked who the 14th placed club is in the Championship ...

Re: World Mental Health Day

I had my head bitten off on the other board when I suggested that personal problems (deaths in the family, poor upbringing, loss of work, marriage break ups etc) were responsible for depression and mental health problems. Yet everyone on here has near enough posted the exact cause of their bouts of ...

Re: Would you vote the same again?

I've got to go and hit the sack now, but tomorrow, I think a little Balkan history is in order for the mis-informed. All you need to know is that a fella called Archie Duke shot an ostrich because he was hungry, which started World War 1. The Balkans and Europe have never been the same ever since.

Good show.

I hope that Jimmy Adamson was alright after being hit on the back of the head with that rattle.

No wonder they were banned.

Re: Next Manager

The last two times we played 1 up top we got roasted. You would thinks lessons would have been learned from from the two previous occasions. We didn't have the same players as now though Engineer, hence being able to change it through our own doing and not because of injuries and lack of personnel....

We wouldn't have them though because we aren't a bunch of needy ba*tards.

If we did have them I'm pretty sure we'd have done a better job of trying to oust them.

Burnley - Still don't have the players to really compete at this level. Manager and players not being brave enough to do something different in games.

Burnley fans - As good as ever

All as good as each other for me. I refuse to pick a favourite so there.

Someone mentioned the 99/00 promotion, that was a cracking and unexpected end to the season.

I don't like going on some of these boards that have different forums for travel, transfers, off topic and the like. It's better that everything is on the same board. It is a little annoying though when you sometimes get a quarter of a page of stickys. Leisure and the like are pretty much on the bal...

Not Burnley FC related but I participated in a pitch invasion following Lowerhouse Cricket Club's Worsley Cup win 2004.
