Pitch Perimeter
I’ve thought for few seasons that the hard standing round the edge of the pitch really is a dangerous surface when players leave the grass at speed. A soft surface might not stop an injury but it must help. You could argue that there’s not been anything of memory that’s caused such an injury but is ...

Re: West Ham v Bournemouth
Turning to their penalty. If you’ve played the game you know that your arms naturally go up as you make that type of tackle, it’s part of when you slide downwards and to get your balance. I get you can influence it by raising your arms higher but I don’t think the lad did. Would you make a tackle li...

Good luck to the lad. It’ll be a challenge for him. He’s certainly worked with some experienced Managers which should stand him in good stead.

So the powers that be are saying, if he does exactly the same move and it goes straight in the net its disallowed as hand ball. But because the move continued the goals allowed. So it’s not hand ball then? I’m not sure their second goal should be hand ball.

Brilliant Leisure and to everyone that has given up their free time to manage the bins at Saturday home games. He never came across to me as a happy soul, someone that could have a laugh with his players. Always far too serious. I think someone like Dyche would turn the mentality round in the club overnight.

As said we’ll never know. My take for what’s it’s worth would all be down to who we could have attracted to play for us, THB- Tella, I’m not sure, don’t think either would have been enamoured with our style of play.

The worst part has got to be the judges dancing up to wherever they happen to be sitting. Christ how bad is that.
