o/t Roof bars for carrying a kayak
Bit of a long shot, but can anyone advise of a cheap, but secure, method of attaching a sit-on kayak to the roof of a car with existing roof rails (no cross bars)*.
I've looked at Thule systems but they seem expensive (the kayak was only £375).
*VW Touareg
Thanks in advance,
Chris
