Bit of a long shot, but can anyone advise of a cheap, but secure, method of attaching a sit-on kayak to the roof of a car with existing roof rails (no cross bars)*.
I've looked at Thule systems but they seem expensive (the kayak was only £375).

Have to say I quite enjoyed this , though you have to buy into the ridiculousness of it and forget any pretence of reality .Quite well acted and I like the chinky bird .
