Re: Advice needed on where to sit with kids
Bob Lord towards Bee Hole End would fit the bill. But probably full. The bottom corner of the Longside by the Bee Hole end, so JAmes Hargreaves Lower in the high seat numbers would be OK, lots of kids down there as well. Make sure you get the right end though! Should be seats down there as they tend...

Tried lots in Burnley and I'd say the Wok Place on Trafalgar is the best, does more than Chinese as well. If you're looking for the more Chip Shop style Chinese then the Ming Wo on Lyndhurst Rd.

Re: Loyalty points
So it's only this season that you'd reach the magic 5000 points by only supporting the clarets at home. 12 x 350 + 1000 = 5200
I've got over 6800 though, so does that mean at 10 points per cup and away game that I've been to 160 other games since 2005. So around 13 a year?

He gave, and received, a fairly decent round of applause before kick off from the Jimmy Mac. To be fair, as we didn't have fans in the Cricket Field when he was here, he probably assumed all the abuse was from his own fans.

So we got promoted on less than £4M loss, and if we hadn't gone up we would have made a profit of around £10M. Boro lost £35M in the same period?

If you don't commit men to a ruck (where the balls on the floor and you can't handle it unless you're stood on both feet) then it's still a tackle, and there is no offside line. It's a tactic you see in 7's all the time, where you want to cover the width of the pitch, so you let the tacklers sort ou...

Think it's the direct way, so along Parliament St, down past Tesco and along Yorkshire St. Unlike the fans who come off at Junc 9 at the Burnley Bridge/Network 55 and come up Rossie Rd, New Rd, through Cliviger and along Red Lees Rd, the Ridge and then onto Belvedere Rd.

It's a very valid comparison. Same trophy at the same stage of the competition. If football is all about familiarity rather than the occasion then we'd be better off dropping down the divisions now, but that's ludicrous. Once you're at the semi final stage those arguments should go away. I'm not gre...
