Re: McNeil
The unanswered question is, how did we get him into that central position. As part of a two, certainly with the current personnel, I don’t think it would work. Pace talked of there being a plan over a number of windows to resolve the previous lack of recruitment, so I wonder if the aim is to move D...

Re: Getting our derbies back
One upside of a potential relegation (and I now rate that at about an 80% likelihood) is that we will get our games back against Blackpool, PNE and BR next season (unless god forbid, they make it out). Must say I have missed them, so at least one thing to look forward to. I wouldn't fancy us agains...

Re: They're out the woodwork
Was meant to read 1 win in 17 and just 5 in 33 And if that was any other team in any division everybody would be saying how is he still in a job but somehow Dyche is the exception to this. I'm on the fence at the moment but this cannot carry on, 2 massive games coming up and 4 points is the bare mi...

You are correct Bill this is NOT a Dyche out thread it was a simple question because the last 12 months have not been great no matter how you dress it up.boatshed bill wrote: ↑Fri Oct 29, 2021 6:07 pmI'd say that is a matter of interpretation.

Re: How long before Dyche comes under real pressure
As this is the overreaction to a League Cup defeat, you are incorrect, we beat Rochdale in the very same competition. And we've also won five away games since 22nd January which is a good return for us. No balance to your argument. Tony it really isn’t because of last night it’s the last 30 games o...

No, it was just a question because ANY other manager in the Prem with those stats would be gone new contract or not, I am sure there will be clauses in the contract to mitigate any payoffs.

How long before Dyche comes under real pressure
Won 4 in 29 (I think)
Not won at home since Jan 26th
Tactically poor
Unbinding loyalty
Falling attendances
This must be a cause of concern for Pace, if we lose on Saturday it will surely start to ramp up.

I'd be concerned if we let Vydra go this summer, Wood will miss a fair chunk of the campaign, and that only leaves Ash and Jay, yes Richardson might be able to make the grade in time, but it's asking an awful lot of a young kid talented as he is too shoulder a lot of the burden to improve our goals...
