It does then beg the question why Dyche, hardly a manager prone to making changes, dropped him? And why the results started coming after he was dropped.

As we’ve seen this season, good shot stopping can sometimes cloud what the keeper is bringing to the table elsewhere.

Just to counteract, I was ready to for him to go. He did amazing things for the club, should probably have a statue at the ground, but I think I’d had enough towards the end of his tenure, both on and off the pitch. I think the players had too.
