Re: ARTICLE: Westwood signs in
I think it's potentially a great signing. Young, not too expensive, likes to break up play, loves to keep it simple, but also keeps the ball moving, plays the ball forwards, and doesn't slow the game down too much. A natural Marney replacement. Welcome to Burnley Sir!

Re: Starting XI Vs Leicester
Fully expect Boyd on the left tonight regardless of the rest of the XI, presuming he's not got a knock. I'd expect Mahrez to operate down the Leicester right, so its important that Ward has plenty of help on that side of the pitch. Exactly. And with Barnes up front with Gray, gives us the option of...

He was Keanes man all afternoon, Ben was the spare man today. Anyway he missed. "Spare man" is a bit of a misnomer. Long is a strange one KRBFC. A few Everton fans I know were gutted to see him go, but he's stalled somewhat. From what he showed at Brentford he clearly has talent. I was a little sad to see him go on loan. I think he showed promise in the spells I've seen him. And without doubt ahead of Agyei in t...

Was it offside? Yes Was it a high foot? Debatable. Koscielny definitely ducked slightly, and Mee didn't overly stretch too high, his foot position was almost natural. Was it a foul? Yes. Regardless of whether or not it was a high foot, his boot caught Koscienly in the face, and he didn't get the bal...

Re: Your team for the Gunners game
Colburn, when we are defending we have two banks of four. We stiffle the space which means they end up passing it around in front of us. The gap between the two banks of four is very tight. A holding midfielder doesn't work in that scenario. Sean Dyche has said that the players understand the syste...

Re: Your team for the Gunners game
Based on the last few games, I would say Marney needs a rest. Last season I couldn't see Dyche resting any of his mainstays, but he's done it with Boyd this season, and I think it would be sensible to give Marney a break. Having said all that, I still think he will play him away from home unless he ...

But we pay national insurance (dependent on income) and we have the option of going private. The treatment I'm on would cost £1000 a month. Can I afford it? Yes, but that's not the point. We don't need to spend £25m to stay up this season and spending it wouldn't guarantee anything either. Prices aren't directly proportional to quality. The better the player, the higher the price hike for that little bit extra. And I'd say prices are double what they were when we bought Boyd.
I don't think the HL signing has been confirmed, just says it is expected.

I thought we were 2 wingers, 2 CMs, 1 FB and 1 quality striker short at the start of the last window. We plugged some gaps with JBG, Hendrick, Defour (but lost Jones), Flanagan and Bamford. With Barton back, that makes us just a winger short, but given Bamford has hardly featured, I think we are pro...
