Re: JJ and Kealia Watt invest in Burnley FC
I don't follow NFL, but even over here in England I knew Manning as a sportsman before I knew the actual rules of NFL. I think Brady eclipsed Manning in fame over the last decade where he just kept on winning and winning and winning as an old man, but I get the sense that a decade ago Manning was t...

Re: JJ and Kealia Watt invest in Burnley FC
JJ Watt was an incredible football player and will probably make the hall of fame (this is reserved for the upper echelon of players who dominated during the majority of their careers). I've watched the P for about 9 years, and I think maybe a better comparison might be Marcus Rashford???? Good play...

Re: Should they stay or should they go?
McNally can't be that far behind, he's done very well at Coventry. We probably went into the loan deal with THB knowing either City were not going to let him go and/or we couldn't afford him, which is why we went after Al-Dakhil and Edkal. I don't think he is that far off from their squad. Ake/Lapo...

Re: The Sun again - Kompany & Spurs
VK is destined for bigger clubs, but I can't see the point of jumping ship to Tottenham now. More money, sure, but no job stability, and could easily see him gone mid-season next year. He then joins the carousel of retread coaches..... He's been fantastic for burnley but what is his ceiling here? Mi...

Muric's been fine. Boro's press has been tough and he's had to deal with the ball within the 6 yard box. He flapped at one cross but no harm came of it.

Re: Boro v Clarets Match Thread
Anyone with eyes on the game? How we looking? Good for our lead? Looking okay. We've given away the ball like 4 times from the back, but Boro couldn't do anything. VAR would have ruled Barnes's goal offside, but it would have given Brownhill a penalty. Tella probably should have scored a few minute...

Decent half. Sunderland looking well organized and threatening. Playing out the back seems to be more risk than reward but we've created the far best chances. Think we wear them down in the second half and get a couple of goals.

If people think this is fun (and I think it will be cool if JJ Watt is there tomorrow) that's their own business and I would hope they pay my opinion no mind. We are not sharp, but Luton's pressing is not giving us any time to control possession. We have gotten some pockets of space in their half but haven't been able to make the passes.

At first I thought I squad was getting too big with all of these signings. I'm all for competition for spots, but you can only play 11 and no one wants to come on as a 85th minute sub. i think SD is going to be cautious for any opening, because he doesn't want to be seen as the next Sam Allardyce (brought in halfway through the season to keep teams up in the PL). I've seen Delap a few times on Sky and he's never done anything to justify his place in the Stoke side. He's played the equivalent of 15 full matches so he should have settled down by now. If that’s true, it’s bad business for us to agree to loans with no recall option, whilst loaning players who do.
