If Man City are keen on him then I can definitely see him going there.
However, I would think that he would then come on loan to us so that Pep can assess him playing regularly for a manager Pep trusts and who Maatsen already knows.
Win win for everyone.. temporarily anyway.

Re: Summer transfer window 2023 - rumours, links and discussion.
The only concern about midfield if Berge and Cullen are the mainstays might be that it lacks a switch of play. My understanding is that Berge is a give and go player not unlike Cullen, which at one level makes them a good compliment. But Cullen doesn't rake passes side to side to open up space and ...

Re: Summer transfer window 2023 - rumours, links and discussion.
£6m for McNally is stretching it a bit don’t you think. My point is it depends how the clubs' accountants want to handle it.. if Gyokeres is say £16m then they get McNally for £1m.. if Gyokeres is £20m then McNally is £5m.. either way our outlay is similar as long as they want McNally. Obviously ir...

I thought he was available for 15m 🫣 I guess it depends how badly they want McNally and how much we value him at.. if Cov want 20m then we value McNally at 6m (think he cost us 1m?) then we're getting Gyokeres for around 15m.. maybe less with add-ons.. VK signing a new contract is a huge draw tho I...
