Great little town with excellent choice of real ale pubs. Imo it’s best to turn right when leaving the train station, walk up to the Navigation, then back into town alongside the Rochdale canal. Will Kompany have a plan B?

‘Muric to smack it up front to our new giant centre forward, he flicks it on to our new speedy wingers/inside forwards and they, either, pull it back to the edge of the box (for Brownhill or Twine) or smash it directly into the top corner’.

All VK needs to do is shout out ‘Plan B’.

He’ll go to one of the midlands (i.e. nearer home) Championship ‘sleeping giants’ with a multi-millionaire/billionaire owner.

He’ll get them promoted, but then what...

p.s. good luck to him wherever he goes.

VK seems to have decided on his 4-2-3-1 formation (for the foreseeable future) so the squad players will need to fit into that

I’d be tempted to try Churlinov at centre forward.

The Accy combination has gone as well which folded after 99 years. Drinking culture is the main reason, people now drink until 8 in the morning, and can't get up for a 2 O'clock KO. If Haffner’s want to ‘step up to the next level’ and expand sales they’ll need to package their pies with a batch number and expiry date which will be a major development task. But well worth doing imo.

I’m a great fan of playing two central forwards and have always liked our 4-4-2 formation. I just can’t see Taylor as a centre half, he’s much more effective an overlapping/attacking left wing back playing just in front of 2 or 3 central defenders (probably 3 under VK).
