I thought Barton’s stint with us in the Prem was pretty disappointing - nowhere near as good as he was in the Champ.
You might be right, I’m probably remembering his Championship performances. Ageing legs in a much higher quality league might have been a bit too much to ask of Barton.

It’s been said a million times but we HAVE to keep Vydra while he receives rehab for his ACL injury. He’s been offered a new deal but at this stage doesn’t seem to keen on resigning with the current terms. Barnes, Rodriguez and Vydra struggled to score in the PL and imo they’ll struggle to score in...

Worryingly no new links to a couple of strikers we desperately need
We’ve already got FOUR strikers in our first team squad - Barnes, Rodriguez, Vydra and Twine.

It sounds very harsh but I think we should terminate Vydra’s contract and recruit a young, lightening fast and powerful replacement.

Imo two sets isn’t enough at this level. The Ladies should play a minimum of three sets like the men. If the score then moves on to two sets all then they could play a tiebreak (instead of a fifth set) - first to twelve games wins. Why not try it as an experiment? I disagree we need a striker, Richardson is unproven, and Vydra (if he signs) is out for a good few months, and much as I appreciate Barnes and Jay Rod it's asking a lot for them to play 46 games in the Championship. Of course if we sign Twine he could probably perform as a striker/number 10. Has T...

It’s possible that Kompany thinks he can develop Roberts as (an attacking) right wing back and that’s why he’s looking for a new right back.

But, if we did sign Wallace they’d be competing for the same position (which isn’t a bad thing).

87m wage bill on the recent accounts. CP thinks around 15m of that is a staying up bonus. This season just gone there is no staying up bonus. 87-15 = 72m Top earners off the wage bill: Tark, Mee, Cornet, Weghorst, Pope - 12.5m there Other OOC’s off the wage bill: 3m let’s say 15.5m saving 72-15 = 5...

I don’t think our players’ salaries will have been halved on relegation. I’d ‘guess’ they’ll have been reduced by a third.

e.g. £60k a week becomes £40k a week.

Does anyone have accurate information?

Are our (first team squad) player’s wages halved on relegation?
