It'll be interesting to see how Brentford get on this season. With a new ground to pay for and to fill, their ticket prices must be the cheapest in London.

Well done to Gareth Southgate and the team. Proud of you.
A sad end but there you go. The harsh reality of penalty shoot outs. It Hurts but we will bounce back. That's what we do.

You could have had a ticket for the final for ten bob, a programme for 2/6d a pie and a cup of tea at half time and still have change out of a quid. (PS...Not sure if Twixes had been invented then)

The UK always was four separate countries, but once the move to devolution and regional assemblies took place from the late 1990s, that is definitely more so today than it was in 1966. There are lots of videos on YouTube of the 66 WC final, and this colour example shows there were St George's Englan...

WC final prog also common but signed takes that up into several hundreds.

If you were around then, it was all in black and white as colour tellies were still a year away and broadcasts of regular colour programmes even longer. £1:50 for three hours is cheaper than Burnleys £1:60 for two hours. The charges Sound reasonable. The old honesty box system didn’t have any clout people just walked past it. I’m guessing it will increase Parking along the road which was always bad unless they’re planning on charging there too?
