Re: Car Leasing

Contract hire typically works out cheaper than PCP but you don’t have the option to buy at the end, which is fine for me as I don’t really want to keep the car beyond the lease anyway. As for PCP being ‘goosed’ as Darth pointed out, I have to agree. Although the risk lies with the leasing companies ...

Re: Car Leasing

Difference between PCP/PCH and owning is that for the former you are effectively just financing the depreciation on the car while you have it, but for the latter you are financing the entire cost of the car. While owning gives you equity in the vehicle it is still a depreciating asset. General rule ...

It is a myth that Premium Bonds are a no risk investment. If you don’t win any prizes then inflation will eat away at the real value of the bond. I was given about £30 of premium bonds in the mid 70’s, when this would have been a reasonable sum to spend. I have never won a prize. They are clearly wo...

I think the biggest risk is that England come knocking after another dissappointing display in Russia. Re: RATE THE REF - Michael Oliver v Crystal Palace

I suppose you could look at it the other way around too. If the free kick was taken from where the player was first offside then it could be that he was offside way further up the pitch than the defending team's back line. Would it be fair to ask them to therefore take the free kick much further back?
