Re: Tuesday night's games - 08/02
I just think that if they beat Everton they could get a bit of momentum going. But watching Everton against Brentford gives me plenty of hope that Everton can get a good result Yeah, get what you mean. But we need to stop placing so much emphasis on individual games. If we hit our points target thi...

The odds would fluctuate, but the damage is already done, as bets are struck at the odds taken. Just to lay it on the line here, I've spent the last 25 years betting fairly successfully, and the last 10 years working for one of the largest betting and gaming companies in the world. What you are say...

Was dreading ringing today to order my son’s first season ticket. Couldn’t do it online as I’ve had to choose the nearest spare seat which I couldn’t purchase for a child for obvious reasons. Got through on the second attempt and the lady was extremely helpful and set up his account, linked it to my...

I liked the one where he played an advantage (credit where it’s due) and then forgot which Watford player committed the offence. When play stopped he had a little look around to see if he could identify the player then shrugged his shoulders and cracked on. The players ignoring him at half time and ...

You are spot on. Our wide players first function, as you say, is to keep the shape of the team so we should be hard to break down. It’s not. That’s the job of our wide players when we don’t have possession. When we have possession their job is to contribute to our attack. It’s not unique to Burnley...

the side has had all flair coached out of it. No wonder McNeil looks like he'd rather be anywhere else That doesn’t really make sense. Few points; Dwight isn’t a kid, he’s 22. He’s young, but he’s got a lot of games under his belt. Dwight isn’t our best player; Tarkowski is comfortably a better player for one. Will he have a better career than anyone else in our side? We can’t say for certain but I am quite confident that he won’t ...

Useful to get us out of our half when we win a throw in in a defensive position but otherwise fairly useless and mundane. Another example of players bottling any kind of responsibility to make things happen by not showing for the short throw and waving the centre backs forward.

It's been atrocious for years at Burnley and as said above, there is really no excuse when other clubs can do it so much better. I can see us lining up something like this against Watford;
—————————Pope
Roberts —Tarks—Mee—Taylor
——————Hayden—-Endo
McNeil———————————Cornet
—————Weghorst—Origi
I’d start Ramsey and Orsic on the bench and bring them on with 20-25 mins to go in the unlikely event that we need a goal.
