Re: Wood Move Changes Our Hopes
25m for Wood is as good as we could have wished for and just about cancels out what we paid for Cornet, Roberts and Collins. I would think all of those 3 have increased in value too. So hopefully the Wood money gives us some considerable leeway to bring in one or two more who hopefully will also inc...

I think everyone knew that Newcastle would be splashing out on a number of players but nobody really expected then to come in for Wood. Re: Chris Wood having medical at Newcastle
If this is true then all we can hope for is that Vydra, Jayrod and Barnes (when he's back) can step up to the mark. And that we can use the money to bring in someone who turns out to be better than Wood alongside another midfielder. Bit of a long shot one has to feel but you never know. No doubt if ...

Take a few risks and get Roberts and Collins into the team asap. Try 3 at the back Tarks, Mee & Collins Lowton, Roberts, Brownhill/Stephens/Westwood, McNeil, Taylor across the middle Vydra, Wood/Jayrod up front. Cornet to replace Wood or Vydra on his return. Re: How Have Things Got So Poor So Relatively Quickly?
I suspect there^s a variety of reasons for our relatively quick decline. Most of which have been touched upon by posters. The most recent one is our defense with Tarks and Mee not really performing to the level we have seen in the past. Alongside our forwards not really performing either. Wood just ...

It's good to see that many posters have reasons for us to stay up and we've only got to look back at Leicester a few seasons back when they looked down and out with 10 games or less to go. But realistically there are as many reasons, if not more, to suggest we will go down this season. Whatever I do...

I think more than likely Dyche has to stay and see whether he can keep us up. There would have to be a major fall out for him to go. More importantly is whether Pace is willing to spend some more cash to bring in one or two fresh faces to see whether that will keep us up. That's if the right players...

Missing Pope, Brownhill, JayRod and Cornet left me thinking we could well be in for a tonking but we started reasonably well and could, possibly should have taken the lead when Wood sent a header wide from a good cross by Lowton. Goal difference may well be the difference but only IF we manage to
win a few more games. Probably at least 7 more wins which is as much as we've
managed in the whole of 2021.
So one in three wins is what we will probably need.
That's a fairly tall order but not unachievable.

A win tonight would be a real fillip and put us in the right
frame of mind to go to Newcastle at the weekend and hopefully

4 points from these two games would be great and keep the undefeated run going.
Win both and we'd be one of the form teams.
