Re: Ramsay
Absolutely none of our players bar Lyle are good enough for the prem, but that doesn't stop them getting games. Weird to spend so much on Ramsay only for him to be practically forgotten about.

Just to add about Anass, I don't think Ramsay, Tresor, Odobert, to a certain extent Zeki have done enough to show they're any better.

Hope this is not too tasteless being remembrance Sunday and everything, but like, did sending 18 year olds over the top make them better warfighters? I don't think it did. I think the term ' ditching ' is a bit strong...some of those players ditched didn't want to come back, others were too expensive Players too expensive not to play?...probably the most expensive wasn't in the squad yesterday, another was a sub. Re: The Project
The word can be a bit silly and overused, but I think there's something to be said about a club having 3-4 year aims and doing business and working in such a way to achieve that aim. For instance, our 180⁰ turnaround in play style brings with it a totally different approach to transfers, training, t...

Said this on the match thread yesterday but there have been times this season where it has felt like Kompany thought defending was beneath us. It's impossible to say last season's team wasn't good enough because we've never actually tried last season's team or anything close to resembling it this season. Biggest fk up has been ditching a team that just couldn't stop winning last year. Being in this situation with last season's squad would ...

One shirt pull followed by another, but only the second is given. VAR doesn't get the right decision, it just changes who makes the wrong decision.

Re: Gooners v Clarets match thread
Muric must obviously be injured or ill not to make the bench today, but we're at the point where keeping Trafford in and exposing him like this is just cruel to the lad. You need to play to get experience, but you need to have the absolute basics nailed down too before you can be trusted to play.

We're 1-0 down, sure, but you can't look at that first half and say we're not defending well as a team. Plus he's had a chance at goal, which is more than a lot of other players get at arsenal.

Too often this season we have started with a very high tempo and literally shot our bolt physically within the opening 25-30 minutes. We can all get bogged down in the finer details of transfer expenditure, value, priorities etc, but fact of the matter is, no club that is among the top 10 spenders in Europe in any given season should get 11 games into the season with only 4 points to show for it.
