Re: Bournemouth v Burnley MATCH THREAD

Trafford has not shown anything to suggest he's better than Music, Steve, and Larsen has shown a lot to suggest he could be our best all round winger.

Re: Bournemouth v Burnley MATCH THREAD

Should be playing over the back four and into midfield with that defence, but we'll know within the first 15mins if we're ever not going to play onto the traps we are set every game. Worried that without Jay playing in the absence of Foster it suggests we're going to be as predictable as we've been ...

One of the things that provided brief benefit being involved in sport whenever I lost, I found out who the weak characters were. The ones you don't want alongside you because they're weak and let you down. This board brings them out, too. Moaning and complaining as though they know better. We're su...

Re: Worst pound for pound Burnley signings

I’m a relative pup at 37 and in my youth I could only dream of a day when a bunch of high end championship players and assorted internationals and sought after youth prospects were duking it out to be the shittest players we’ve ever seen  I’d love to see what the younger lads made of the likes...

Re: How many games would you give the manager?

Sure but by Dec 2nd we'll have played 14 games, at which point Dyche was level on points with 17th (and only 3 points from 13th). If Vincent is in a similar situation too of course I'd keep him. But that's not guaranteed. The only point that matters is that we stuck with a manager through his first...

Re: How many games would you give the manager?

I'd give him five games (until after Sheffield Utd on 2nd Dec) and if he's not within 3 points of safety I'd make the change. I don't believe for a second it will come to that but if it does there's no point sticking with a failing manager because of what he did in the Championship. We've been in t...

Bad as a lot of these lads are playing they generally all do kind of resemble footballers which is more than can be said about some of the donkeys we've had down the years.

Atmosphere's shite. Like an awkward prom/leavers do where everyone is too afraid to be the first one to dance. It's a joke the sheer number of technicians we have at the club now. We could probably do with one or two more who are a bit more street-wise, know how to go for the kill and whatnot and know how to truly manage a game (not signing Townsend was a bit disappointing for this reason), and in terms of h...

Benny seems like one of those players who is overly-protective of his body and won't play unless he's in 100% perfect condition. Arjen Robben was the same, which is curious, because Benny's playstyle is virtually identical.

Why not in a game like this? He reads the game well, can head a ball and is a good passer. All part of our developing fluidity and "total football" ethos.
