I don't think Australia are a particularly great side. Smith and Labouchagne are world class, but otherwise they are a very good side (squad) but then actually so are we. The difference is they are brought up in Australia, play all their cricket in Australia and play the conditions far, far better ...

There’s no way, with batting as fragile as it is, they will select Wood, Broad, Anderson and Leach. It would also be harsh on Robinson who, IMO, has been England’s best bowler in 2021. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were looking at Overton to be honest.

If you're doing this, try to stay in the left lane and don't be one of those middle lane clowns... Also, at the lower speed you'll regularly force lorries out into the middle lane to overtake you. Bloody hell, I’m with you on this. The amount of people you see on the M6 doing this. Seems more dange...

How to get best MPG

Any recommendations on how to get good MPG? I’ve got a Diesel engine and I can usually get anywhere between 40s to 50s MPG. I try to use cruise control and stick to the speed limit. However, how much difference does things like sticking the heating on make?

What’s really noticeable about that footage is the way both teams just jog back to the centre circle after a brief celebration when they score. Even Moore does in the last minute. Now it would be, head to the corner, entire team goes over, try to waste time, then get back as slow as possible.

No wonder Timmy Paine is so keen for the series going ahead, we’re going to get absolutely thumped with that team. Our only hope is that Root continues his stellar form. I believe he’s never scored a ton in Australia so not hopeful. Even if he did, it would only be damage limitation.

My favourite one yesterday was when he was telling wood why he wasn’t getting a penalty, he turned round, saw a Norwich player on the floor, clearly hadn’t seen what happened but immediately gave a free kick. A shambles.

Parking was a bit of a nightmare last time I went. I ended up parking a long way out across from quite a grand looking secondary school. Lots of permit holders only anywhere near the ground and didn’t see any pay options.

Hopefully some kind soul will be able to answer the following:-

My old man can’t go on Saturday to the Arsenal game. Would a junior be able to get in on an over 65s ticket? If not, is there a way of exchanging the season ticket so that they can?
