One of my favourite players from that era. I remember a fantastic goal he scored at home against Fulham. Think we ended up winning 5-2.

For best results make a yeast starter. This will mean buying a bag of dlme (dried light malt extract) and getting the yeast going in a container with an airlock 24 hrs ahead of brew time. Use about 4oz per litre of liquid. Gentle boil for 10 mins and then cool it down to about 21c. Add the yeast and...

Re: Massive problem. Advise needed.
I'd go softly on this one because trying to force it might have the opposite result. If they start leaning towards the wrong team because of family pressure then let the child know they always have a choice of teams and they can pick who they want. If they end up supporting Torquay United it is a be...

Would I like him back? Yes
Would SD want him? Maybe
Will it happen? Very doubtful
He's not the same player he was after the bad injuries and his wages would be a massive issue for is. There are better, healthier and cheaper options out there.

He did get one, a testimonial usually lasts a year during which there are a number of events, all of which have to be organised by his testimonial committee. Some of those events took place, there was certainly a golf day. He chose his committee, they didn't deliver a game for him for whatever reas...

Whether or not you think he was a good player is irrelevant in terms of him being due a testimonial. He gave us 10 years of service and that alone is why he should have got one. He didn't though and it isn't the clubs fault. I can see why he is annoyed but if he didn't get his testimonial committee ...

No history? Newly formed? They were founders of the football league and had a brief 4 year spell after they went bust of 'non-existence'. I'd hardly say no history or newly formed. They have actually spent most of their history in the football league. They weren't a founding member of the football ...
