Lost their key game with Newcastle 3-0 today. I took my daughter for the first time and it was a very even game until Newcastle got their second which came from an indirect free kick given for a non-existant back pass.

Decent crowd backed by a large number of Geordies!

I think a lot of our unsold kit went to Classic Football Shirts hence the start of the business relationship that led the shirt sponsorship last season.

Nothing unusual about kits being reduced at this time of the season. Lots of Premier League teams have reduced theirs before we have. The unusual thing was last season’s remaining at full price as long as it did.

Music - don’t think there’s many things better than a live gig and the only thing on a par with going to a game. I still buy CDs of my favourite artists and will always endeavour to have a full back catalogue of each.

Absolutely ran the midfield. Calm in possession, strong on the ball and gave the finest example of a cross field ball in the first half you are likely to see.

He will have done at some point but I can’t remember him giving the ball away.

I remember being really excited by this signing. If I remember, he didn’t really get going initially and came far more into prominence the season after when we gained promotion.
