Re: Alan Pace Interview
It’s double standards because you are having a go at fans for being ‘obsessed’ with debt, yet state that Garlick shouldn’t be anywhere near the club (despite being on the board) due to selling the club knowing that it would result in us being in debt. How does Pace want what’s best for the club any...

Re: Alan Pace Interview
Your double standards are quite amusing. You recently said that Garlick should be nowhere near Burnley ever again. How is it double standards? I don’t think he should be near the club again. He claimed to be a fan, and put his own interests ahead of the club. Why he sold, and what he gained form it...

Re: Alan Pace Interview
It isn’t quite rightly though, is it? I’ve never known a fan base to be so obsessive with debt. Why don’t you give him a chance to pay the debt back?FeedTheArf wrote: ↑Sat Jun 18, 2022 6:05 pmSigh all you want, but until Pace/ALK pay the money/debts back they will, quite rightly, never be accepted by many

Re: Alan Pace Interview
Again, perhaps Dyche thought he had enough with what we had. We didn’t improve the midfield under the previous owners.

Re: Alan Pace Interview
What ambition did ALK have? left Dyche with a **** old squad. 3 transfer windows are barely spent a dime net ALK had so much ambition, Pace said himself they didn't plan to add anyone during January until the shock departure of Wood. The only thing I will credit the previous regime for is sticking with Dyche following relegation last time around, and the implementation of the training ground. The success though and the finances that came with it is down to SD.

Dyche wouldn’t have been successful without the backing of the board. For any team to be successful everyone needs to be pushing the same direction. Whatever people think of Garlick and Co, they over saw a very successful time that developed the club the most in my lifetime In the first promotion s...

Re: Well done Alan Pace.
Well done Alan Pace. Is this a wind up. He sacked the best manager our club ever had. Put an amateur in charge ( with little managerial experience) for the final 6-7 games of the season. Got us relegated from the Premier League in his first full season as owner. He has made more staff redundant and...

Re: Summer 2022 Burnley Transfer Window Rumours - Links - Discussion
Are you excited by the signing? It’s a link on the terrible lancs live paper. But seeing as you asked. We need a left back, one that obviously is prepared to be a back up, and fits Kompanys style, so with 26 being a decent age and on a free then I wouldn’t be against it. I haven’t seen him play tho...

Fair enough. I apologise for getting defensive. They aren’t beyond criticism and the economics of the takeover is above my head. On the face of it, it isn’t ideal but they’ve only been here 18 months, in the midst of a pandemic with a squad that has been neglected for far too long under the previous...

I've not knocked them from the word go, so you can wind your neck in. To me a new manager simply has to be out on the training pitch with the lads for when they return to pre season training. That can’t be far away! It has to happen this week.

I said it before and I will say it again. Kompany wants to come but it is conditional on Pace securing new backers to fund his plans. At present Pace must still be desperately seeking new backers, hence the continued hold up. The work permit thing is just a smokescreen. Don’t........talk.........****

Tony, some people just can't take subtle hints, it has to be put in plain and simple English and even then 50% will continue to ask.  How about people stop hinting and say what they actually mean instead of leaving posts that keep people guessing by interpreting it multiple ways.
