He came to a fund-raising event at St Thomas' CE School Barrowford. There was a penalty-taking competition. The goals were tine and the keeper was very good at saving penalties, in fact no-one had scored any of their five shots. I asked Kurt if he would show us how it was done, and he said,"no probl...

We could always just use the new Barnsley kit and use felt pen to insert 'not' before the word Barnsley. That should stop the Burnley/Barnsley/Burnsley confusion.

All I have to go on is the Play-off final. He was hardly involved in the first half but came to life when Coventry were pressing for a goal and reminded me of a young Jay, with lots of energy, pace and awareness.

I'm really hoping we can get Tella and Gyokeres + another striker and left back (to offer some competition for Taylor, which I don't see coming from Vitinho). Another winger would be a bonus.

Re: City v Inter. The Purist Treble.

Get Walker and Mahrez on. Their left back is the weak link. Ake looks shaky and Silva could have done better, so Ake & Silva off, Akanji to left defence, Walker and Mahrez to hit them where they will hurt.

Inter very clever.

He's allreet but when Al-Dakhil is playing he always emphasises every pass whereas other players don't get a mention when they touch the ball. Has anyone else noticed this? I think he hopes to be able to say 'Al-Dakhil backheel' but it never happens.

jdrobbo -

I'm glad you followed the route I suggested up Buckden Pike but sorry that it almost cost you your marriage! Your photos show that there wasn't much water coming down the beck, so the falls weren't at their best. Go again sometime when it's been raining!

Re: Walking in the Yorkshire Dales (favourite routes)

We’re looking at potentially doing Starbottom-Bukden Pike-ridge walk and then down to Starbottom again, for our next jaunt. It’s about ten miles. I seriously recommend ascending Buckden Pike via Buckden Beck. Most folks don't know about this incredible route, which contains lots of superb waterfall...
