And that was the one crucial instance last season That was my point, Tony - it's a bit like the arguments over handball. In many/most instances it could be argued that the decision makes little difference, but in the penalty area it's critical. Similarly, in many cases, the ref getting in the way m...

No remedy though for when the ref impedes a Burnley midfielder who's about to intercept an advancing opponent, who then proceeds unchallenged, leading to a goal?

My sister took my daughter yesterday, and her satnav took her down via Buxton (because of delays on the M6).
She said it wasn't much different from using the M6, timewise, and it's a prettier journey.
She came back via the motorways though.

I swam for St. Ted's, and one day we had a competition at Central Baths over a lunchtime (might even have been against BGS) and i didn't have my stuff with me, but Bill Duxberry insisted I had to swim, so I had to wear a pair of the trunks they used to lend/hire to swimmers who didn't own any! I grew up near Duke Bar, so North Street was the baths that we swam in as kids - demolished years ago. In fact, Billy Gaskell taught my sister and me to swim and then taught my girls at Swimsafe! Not that this should sway your decision in any way, but the school uniform colours were changed to Claret and Blue by the last-but-one Headteacher (Philip Morris) who was a keen Claret! (Just saying, like!)
And it IS a very good school.
