Also seems like Dyche and Pulis’ conviviality helped keep this one smooth. I wonder whether the Vokes thing might still happen for Boro IF Burnley are successful in luring Jay Rod (or other forward).

Re: Ben Gibson
Apparently ‘promised’ a move when Boro didn’t bounce back as Southgate told him he wouldn’t be considered for England playing in the Championship. He agreed to give it a year and has fallen out of the England frame. This was the talk up there immediately after the end of the season - the only surpri...

Their fans seemed surprisingly non plussed on the forum I read, by all accounts he’s not been in good form over the last season. In fact plenty of them seemed quite happy to see him go. WBA don’t seem to have a lot of options in attack though, assuming Rondon’s off, so they’re bound not to let go easily.

I’m sure the Boro faithful will be delighted to hear Burnley being regarded as a bigger club. Lol. That Michael Keane equaliser in the Championship run-in just got bigger. I think its handy to watch the press conference - I watched it on the Mirror Sport website last night. You hear the questions and the whole thing has more context. I didn't think it showed anything more than the usual we have heard from Dyche over transfers, certainly didn't see it as a cry for help...

Nick Powell is a player I've only seen in despatches, but always looks like he had quality to be unlocked. It’s only a small thing but Mee seems to be in a similar boat to his departed best mate at Burnley Scotty Arfield. I think Aberdeen at home is a big test but I'm sure we'll be playing the same team (or a variation of our 'strongest' team) as this match is so much more representative of a proper game compared to Sunday's friendly. IF we get through, I'd imagine we will feel a weakened team in Turkey - and to be h...

I asked a chap with young kids how he’d got them there and he said they’d both had season tickets since they were one. I guess this is technically possible, though I’m not sure how many points 7 or 8 consecutive season tickets gets you -not as many as 5000 does it?

Hazard likes to stick his arse out and falls over a lot. I think he’s a very talented player (obvs) but he’s quite selfish and does go missing in games. He did look good when he came in at Turf against a tired team. But it was a mere cameo compared to many others mentioned.
