All squares are rectangles, but not all rectangles are squares.

I think you could have a square pitch if you had the maximum width and minimum length, it would be 100 yards square. (Obviously under the laws of the game, not Premier rules.) The touchline must be longer than the goal-line. https://www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/lawsandrules/laws/football...

Well done. I don’t think many are questioning the actual sacking, nor the timing of it. If it was down to the results as the club statement said, then why wait 5days after the Norwich game? But many are! Perhaps the wait was to remove emotions from the situation and to discuss with the various part...

The Penalty
Why was it a penalty?
I looked at it on Match of the Day and I saw no contact and Cornet intent on going down - diving. I felt he could have stayed up and perhaps scored.
By the way, Brownhill played the ball out to him - I mention this because he gets criticised for his passing.

Never a red and no retake as offences on both sides. Simple fact is Jay should have told him to do one and Cornet should have put it away when Jay bottled it. Actually that's not true about 'offences from both sides' - two wrongs don't make a right. The advantage was with West Ham as Cornet missed ...

Bailiffs generally don’t get sent in for £11 million debts. To have any value a bailiff or sheriff would have to levy and look to remove 3 to 4 times the value of the debt. Until recently I didn't know that Dyche had less or even no say in recruiting. That is not the right way to manage a team. I can see an argument that says he should be more open to overseas players say, but as his team was about 'togetherness' and Dyche's framework it's even more important that it s...

I can't help thinking the reason the 'Dry Powder Store' was inflated, at the expense of buying players and perhaps keeping Dyche happy (he may have known what was going on, hence his hissy fits), was in order to make the club attractive to sell - or even just sellable.
