Re: VAR & the FA cup
no (but it doesn't make things better). It means some games have 2 refs whilst others only have one, it's just unfair full stop. Let's say it's Burnley v Exeter and Mansfield v Northampton - two identical goals are scored and one gets ruled out at Burnley because the VAR finds a minuscule tug on a ...

So is your argument against it that VAR doesn't make things better?Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Tue Feb 27, 2024 9:41 pmno because goal line tech is not subjective. VAR is re-refereeing the game, they are 100% different ends of the scale and to add to that VAR is not reducing errors nor increasing fairness.

Re: VAR & the FA cup
the main point is that not all the games are played in the same way, it's an absolute farce But they all play by the same rules, VAR or not And it's the same for both teams playing against each other I'm no fan of VAR. And I'd scrap it tomorrow But as the point of VAR is to reduce errors, and incre...

Massengo who came on in the 90th minute against Fulham whose opening salvo was to take the poorest throw in I have seen for a long time and give a foul throw away? The bloke doesn’t want to learn. What has he done? Nowt. I disagree He clearly does want to learn, that's probably why he came to Burnley in the Championship, expecting to be in that division for 2 or 3 seasons minimum And he has made changes, last season and this. I haven’t read all the posts but if Everton receive a further points reduction presumably that will not be know until next season which seems wrong if they as looks likely stay up this season. If they appeal, it would be concluded the week or so after the season end. And apply to the current season

I'm not sure what we gain by sacking him atm. Unlike others, I think last season's incredible achievements give him a safety net. Yes, some things have been baffling this season, and he is acting very stubbornly. But let's be honest, we could easily be at least level with Luton were it not for VAR d...

We play a different back 4 every week. I think coaching that into a cohesive defence is an almost impossible task. Doesn't matter if you've got 4 strikers at the back. Some of our errors have been so basic, they wouldn't have been out of place in a pub league. Some really are as simple as marking y...

That 1st goal is exactly why we will go down Everything else this season is irrelevant. Lewis to pip Leclerc to 2nd in drivers
