Clarence Gardens New Houses
I'm looking at moving into the Burnley area and I've seen this new estate Clarence Gardens and just wondered if anyone on here has bought of of the new houses and what the estate is like. Any advice would be appreciated. Also been looking around the close area of Burnley but don't know the areas tha...

Re: The Chris Wood Situation
Playing Wood up front on his own is fine, providing you get the supply to him in the way that suits his game. That’s crosses. Get crosses into the box for him to attack, we did that more in the second half and looked better for it. First half we seemed intent on going straight down the middle. Get i...

Re: Squad analysis
Think there's a few clarets out there that are concerned about the centre half positions. I'd like to see us sign the next Keane or Mee from a lower league club or from a prem youth team set up, there must be a few decent prospects out there that will never get the chance to break through at a top 6...

Re: Jack Cork
Two things really stand out for me, 150 + prem appearances and also Vice captain of a team. This would indicate he'd fit well, has experience at this level and can lead, whats not to like? Ok we might of moved on as a club from when he was last here, but I'd bet he's not the same player either, I be...

Re: Jota out of friendly
Only problem with that is it's completely untrue apologies depending which stat site you use our possession is showing around an average of 40%. That is an average. However also an average of 4.7 dribbles a game, which again proves, its a long ball direct style. Other teams around us last season (W...

Re: Jota out of friendly
Plenty of inspiring football that has brought us success. So that be all the home games last season where we had 20-30% of possession in most games, inspiring is watching the other team with the ball, then when we do get the ball we hit it long to Vokes and/or Barnes and pray something happens. Ins...

Re: Jota out of friendly
Because all our football under Dyche has been uninspiring. When I read posts like this it really does confirm how simple some of our 'fans' are. If you think the majority of the football played under SD is inspiring, you are either very easy to please or need to look up the definition of inspiring....

Re: Jota out of friendly
He'd be a brilliant addition to the squad, however he is far too creative, has flair, can do something out of nothing, able to get assists, so for that reason SD is out I'm afraid. Back to dull uninspiring hoof ball.

Re: ARTICLE: Hennings in Bundesliga 2 return
Wish him well, don't think we ever saw the best of him in his brief spell with us. My main concern is its yet another failure from outside this country. Our foreign scouting seem to be lacking somewhat, Defour has had his problems settling in for whatever reason, be it injuries or a clash of persona...

Re: Nathan Ake to Bournmouth £20m
I'm just glad we don't spend this amount on players, we've already proven there's bargains to be had, anyone remember signing Duff for £30,000, or perhaps Ings for £1 mill, how much did we pay for Trippier and Mee? Keane was a bargain at £1.5 mill, Heaton didn't cost much money.... There's plenty of...

Re: Gray to Everton?
Gray is never really going to shine with us, purely through our style of play. Vokes & Barnes do much better because they are more physically suited to our style of play. Gray needs someone to thread balls through, spot a pass, so he's able to make a run, pull defenders out of position, use his pace...

Re: Andre interesting Everton and Spurs
Gray is the type of player we should be looking to keep and extend his contract, he's not the finished article, but we need to look at building a squad that is capable and has different attributes, Grays been pace and power. Sounds like he's willing to sign a contract, which is great news. I do wond...
