No mobile network is going to work well at half time on the Turf especially if people try streaming things. Also a Turf Moor WiFi network would also struggle at such peak periods.

Just be aware that however cheap your sim only deal is they all get increased every April by the RPI and a bit more, even if you think they are fixed for however many months.

It took me about 6 weeks to get back to some level of normal activity and to return to work. I think I was over cautious at first (probably thought I would dislocate the new hip) and, as a result, I do get some muscle pain around the new joint. The sign on the old photo says “drive slowly through culvert”. This suggests that back then it was the road/tramway tunnel that was the culvert.

People are just plain selfish. They run on the pitch because they want to and that is all that concerns them. Their whole lives are probably based on looking after number one and having no thought for anyone else. Sad.

The sound for the music and announcements was much better today with the temporary additional speakers around the pitch. Not a long term solution but shows that something needs doing permanently.

The Reading fans next to the Burnley fans made a right racket. Their annoying drummer kept their chants going brilliantly (which wound me up no end). The drummer was also very effective at stopping our chants by playing his drum at a different rhythm to us each time we started chanting.

I have a plug in hybrid. At the moment I can’t get my home charging point at less than 32p/KWh. Cheap EV tariffs are unavailable right now.

So now it begins, the great big hand out to friends, acquaintances, anybody you fancy. No checks will be made on entry to Ewood so basically anybody with mates can get a ticket (except for limited numbers). Ps I am not bitter, I have loads of points but don’t want to be involved in any tribal aggro....
