Re: Letting go of your dreams

At 37 years old, weighing 17 stone and with little or even less footballing ability I still dreamt of playing centre forward for Burnley.

Then Dyche took over and I had to accept I would never be Dyche fit.

Maybe when he leaves there may still be some hope.

Re: Parliment to hold debate about FA and vote of no confidence.

Rovers fans will no doubt be creaming their grubby Y-fronts over this news.

Whether a case of owners pumping nigh on £100m into a club to keep it afloat will be part of the debate remains to be seen.

I think that was the most frustrating thing about the delivery into the box; the amount of space meant there was very little pressure on the ball.

Excellent performance; absolutely dominated the midfield.

Only minor criticism was the number of poor crosses put in from very good positions. A bit more quality there and we could have had more goals which our performance would thoroughly deserved.

Re: vokes surplus to requirements?

Ideally we would upgrade on Vokes, like most of our squad.

But finding players who are of higher quality and with the same attitude within our price range isn't easy.

The squad we have are doing a fine job at the moment but the longer we stay in this league, we are going to need better players.
