Re: Burnley fan ejected at Spurs for racism

We should have his head chopped off, with “racist” tattooed across his young forehead, swinging from a lamppost on Harry Potts Way, with his adult companion chained to the bottom of the post as a deterrent to all. Or we could follow the clubs lead, reaffirm that racism is completely unacceptable, de...

Does anyone have a favorite crazy game? I remember one from the 82/83 season where we played Leicester at home and lost 2:4, but what was so memorable was all the penalties and Alan Stevenson getting sent off. I think Paul McGee took one and missed and than had to face one too. If memory serves Lei...

After a very action packed day in Carlisle I seem to remember Andy Wharton banging in a last minute or two equaliser. Early 80’s me thinks. One of my favourites - which led to “let’s all have a disco na na na na”.

It doesn't matter how good he is in defence, to improve you need players are good enough with their feet AND are as good as Ben in defence. Heaton must stay. Pope’s the better keeper.
Hart’s good back up - but could be replaced as no3 easily enough.
Heaton starts. Pope’s top class back up and a better younger long term keeper.
Billy Mercer is pretty crucial too.
Not a bad dilemma.
