Re: Would our ex players keep us up
As stated above I was being sarcastic because some posters keep telling us to stay positive because we just can't compete and £100 million is nothing so should just accept relegation and 'come back up', for some very strange reason some posters believe the new ownership is about building a squad to...

Never say never. We've not been lucky with injuries, and if we can get to January with about 15 points then we might have half a chance. Will Foster go to Afcon? Beyer / Ekdal may make us a lot more solid. We are improving, but we need to just scab a couple of dirty wins from somewhere to give us a ...

We have a squad full of good up and coming talent. We have also massively ballsed up our recruitment in the summer. For me the point of this season now is not letting our heads drop, keep evolving the style and hopefully get us a decent points haul. It's imperative we keep backing them. I clapped them off as I thought they needed a bit of support after a fairly solid display. Brentford are the ideal model tbh in terms of building on what got them up. Think we are due another summer of change once we go down. Still think we'll smash the championship next year though. Nothing against the lad, but he's not what we need right now.

Cards on the table for me : Why did we spend 12 million in total on absolute dross like oshea and Delcroix when we could have signed a dominant CB or even THB? I love seeing clubs win something who historically have suffered over the years. Probably because it reminds me of us a bit.
Like Hibs winning the Scottish cup final in 2016 after 114 years for example
One win like that is worth 5 premier leagues that the big boys win

Think we can get points off the bottom half, but invariably we will get some more tonkings along the way. Look at Brighton on saturday, playing wide open football can hurt you.
