Re: Summer transfer window 2023 - rumours, links and discussion.

According to Football League World, Burnley Stoke and Blackburn are interested in QPR's Lyndon Dykes. I wouldn't mind him coming to East Lancashire.........as long as it's to Ewood. I watched him playing for Queen of the South a few times at the beginning of his career, and he didn't particularly st...

The bowling injuries piling up for England. At least we don’t have a heavily condensed series to make space for the Hundred.

Who would you choose to replace him? Ahmed/Parkinson/Jacks?
Not Parkinson. He can't even get into Lancashire's red ball side.

Anyone watching the Ross County v Partick Thistle play-off second leg?
At last, a decent ref!
Partick Thistle penalty claim. The ref didn't give it, but the VAR official told him to go to the monitor.
The ref had several looks at it, and stuck with his original decision.
Good for him.

It 's strange the things you can remember from over 50 years ago. I too remember that Southampton game, Tony, and although I haven't looked it up I think that was the match where we had a four figure crowd (9595?) for the first time for many years for a league game. But the main thing I remember is ...

I think Dean Smith had a game plan here. Keep Newcastle out for 70 minutes, then bring your most creative/dangerous players on and go for it in the last 20 minutes. If they had tried to attack from the off, they'd have been stuffed. To be fair to Smith, it nearly worked, with that Pope save near the...
