It was bad enough with child care costs when mine were very little
Without grandparent help it would have been impossible, and its even worse now
Not everyone is lucky enough to have grandparents who can help, and not everyone is lucky enough to have grandparents full stop

Think we will stick with the current plan of asking anyone in the Whats app group if they want the tickets when people can't make it
I'd rather a mate got it for nowt than this

Maybe the Club have missed the opportunity of offering 2/3/5 year ST's.
Maybe
I think the current strategy is working out fine though to get these sorts of results
We are going to be playing every home in front of a full home crowd, and thats going to be great

Its a bit of a surreal experience being in this situation
Its fantastic, but we need to be doing it when we've had a season where its not been as good
That will be the challenge

Selling players who realistically aren't ready for the level we are now isn't the worst strategy in the world One thing we appear to be a lot better at is recognising that if we can sell someone who isn't going to feature, then we should £2 million sounds like a good deal (though would presume that ...

It wasn't taken as an insult.
I'm just surprised that anyone, no matter which generation they're from, can be all arsey about something as harmless as these videos
Some don't like them
Lots of stuff I don't like but these videos are certainly not one of those things!

Hey, I'm at that generation (vintage Claret so to speak) and I think the reveal videos are grrrrrreat, as Tony the Tiger used to say when I was in the 'every other one' Loads on here are, and you are all different but these videos are not aimed at you (or me for that matter!) Its not an insult btw,...

https://twitter.com/ThePoke/status/1681687842395676673 Its getting traction on social media - that is exactly what its designed to do And of course some won't like it, and some will, and some will go "WTF?" but as long as they are talking about on social media, then that exactly what the club are lo...

Did they ever have any ideas in the first place? I appreciate that they're aimed at the 'Tik Tok' generation, but even so I've had the misfortune of seeing 3 or 4 of these 'announcement' videos and not only in terms of what could (very loosely) constitute 'content' but also (even more loosely) 'pro...

But there are fans on their forum saying he'll be worth £30 million by this time next year, and therefore incredulous that this £2million release clause was (apparently) in his contract. Its just reality for us smaller clubs though The longer we can hold off dropping to their level the better, but ...

They seem too rational these days
If Philips played for Coventry he'd be worth £1.2 billion in the eyes of their fans

I didn't say that he wasn't still a good player, but his form dipped late in the season and he lost his "shooting boots", so having someone like Redmond available to come in for a few games to rest him would have been ideal (IMO). I thought that he'd dropped initially at first, but then I watched s...

He looked good for us in our systems, as a 2nd striker with a free role or wide striker in a 3. He's not a winger and not a sole striker. There's already mumblings of him not suiting how Southampton play. Yeah, that might well be what finally sorts this out If Martin doesn't want to use that system...

Which Zaroury? The one who was magnificent for the first half of the season, or the one who looked tired and short of confidence (for the most part) in the last quarter of the season? I think the idea that Zaroury wasn't still a very good player for the 2nd half of the season is more than a little ...

I’m not sure. Yes, last year we bought cheap (we didn’t have any money) This year we seem to be around the £12 - £15 mill mark (Beyer, Trafford, Coulibaly, O’Shea and some of the others we have reportedly interest in). Not Cheap. Or free older players (Townsend, Redmond) with no resale value. Now m...
