Theres loads of great new & newish bands out there atm. Just because they dont get exposure doesn't mean they dont exist. Get your ar5es out to one of the many local venues and watch some great live acts. It doesn't have to cost a fortune either (the average spread being between £8 - £15 for a ticket)

I saw them at the Manchester Apollo the same week as Sams Town came out. It was an incredible gig, a truly electric atmosphere. Easily one of the best gigs I've ever been to. You came away knowing they would never play that size of venue again, they were on the cusp of being something really special...
