Kettledrum is a good pub on the edge of town, been in tonight and it was full - top food and drink. Usually loads eating and locals having a drink. Looking at the countries that have held recent World cups, I don't see how this will make much difference to whether we get to hold one in the future. There's certainly been issue in Russia, Brazil and Germany who have been successful.

Didn't seem to have much success. Maybe all the those queuing, really do need the cubicle

Closing the side entrance to the bar seemed to make it easier to walk down the stairs, another bar + the bottle bar outside would be a good edition.

Going to Portugal next month and they still, at this stage, require an antigen, or PCR test (negative result, of course) for entry. Spoke to a Southerner today who had recently relocated to the area, had 2 family members visiting for the weekend so checked the BFC website Sunday morning. Bought 3 tickets JML with no membership numbers, they enjoyed it but were surprised that there were tickets available and he could purchase.
