Re: Stoke v Burnley Match Thread
We need to use the squad. Stoke have had a day more to recover than us, let's hope that is not a telling factor. VK said it takes 4 days to recover from a game Stoke have had that By his own admission VK sent an exhausted side out on the 2nd half against Sheffield United and look what happened. Stok...

IMO Too one footed and too slow. You can't do anything about lack of pace, but the extreme inability to use his right foot could have been dealt with in his development. Being competent with his right foot would have made him a completely different player. Too late now, a potential talent wasted

I remember 3 promotions to to top tier, Dyche x2 ans Adamson, although we comfortably won promotion on all 3 occasions, there were many occasions that we had to battle out results. This time is seems so different, its like a stroll in the park, the opposition seems so inept, lacking in any quality. ...

Not the most exciting games, but we have controlled it well. Anthor goal, and game management will do for me. We have a lot of games coming up, so going flat out when it's not required is not a great idea

The quote from VK isn’t saying he’s only a number 9 ‘He is a player who can do both, he can be in the pockets and the half spaces but he can also play centrally and drop in," "He's got good feeling for timing of runs in behind so I think naturally his instinct is to be a number nine, but I think be...

Re: Man Utd v Burnley match thread
There’s always been a misconception about me and Brownhill, I don’t hate him I just simply don’t think he’s good enough for the prem. I thought he was consistently our weak link at that level. Brownhill performed exactly how I expected him to. He’s got talent but unfortunately at the top level his ...

Re: Are we a better team than last year?
We certainly look better, definitely nicer to watch, but we have to take the quality of the opposition into account. If you look at Cork and Brownhill as an example, both excellent at this level, but look how they struggled in the prem. We don't know how the likes of Bayer, Benson Tella and Zaroury ...

What about their first goal and the one THB cleared off the line just before half time? And the constant problems they caused from corners and throw ins. Our 2 goals were individual errors. What slightly concerns me is that VK doesn't seem too bothered about the threat the opposition poses.
