The article doesn't mention just how those clubs are dealing specifically with purchases by direct debit. Just suspend payments for the next 3 months & then continue with payments in July? Not hard really. Also that would sort out payments that are owed back, could then automatically be deducted of...

I should imagine if the season was declared null n void, then they would have to be reinstated, as long as debt was cleared & they have sufficient funds to continue? I think the major problem @ Bury was the loon pot owner though!

If clubs are going to go bust then the players MUST take a reduction to ensure they dont go to the wall. Obviously if not, then keep paying them their 50k a week as I have no problem with it. I just dont want to see a load more Bury fc situations further down the line!

Just finished watching it, my thoughts are has there ever been a more unlucky club! Great massive fan base who deserve much more than league 1 football.. I hope when/if this season is completed that they return to the championship & then back to the premier league the season after.

They said: "Unfortunately, due to the nature of the 12-month direct debit option this deadline cannot be extended for supporters purchasing via this method." Excellent again from the club! Cheapest adult ticket works out @ £17 a game for premier league football.
