Re: Is Britain a European Country?
There seems to be a large number of people who think that the EU and Europe are the same thing, as in "we're leaving Europe", "Brexiters are anti-European" etc. The British Isles are islands offshore to mainland Europe but still part of Europe as per Japan /Asia. One advantage of the misconception ...

There's no doubt that some are taking all this for granted. We didn't sell out the home seats when we are 7th. The premier league fans are clearly not enticed by a home game v Swansea.

You have to wonder about the motives behind this. The police hours spent since the incident, investigating the actions of people who were being attacked, whilst at the time they did not do their jobs, allowing people who had clearly broken the law to walk free. This is one screwed up world.

One area I think we can improve upon, is protection of the ball. Use of the body as a shield and subtle nudges to gain an advantage when challenged. Several West Ham players were very good in that department.

The move forward from last seasons survival is great to see. If we are to remain a Premier League side, we need to carry more threat going forward and we have the players to do it. The off the ball movement is getting better which gives the opportunity to Defour and Brady to hit runners to create ch...
