Re: RATE THE REF - Jarred Gillett v Arsenal
The guy never touched Ramsey ,he hurt himself as he avoided the tackle, probably got his studs stuck in the turf. Ok. I need to see it again, but at the time it definitely looked like the first "tackle" was a fail and the second "lunge" caught Ramsey badly and wasn't deemed a foul. I'll need to doub...

Re: A Fantastic Championship Manager
Dyche failed in his first PL season and he clearly learned an awful lot and used it to good effect. The thing is, we were never this bad or this far off the standard. That's the worry.

Re: RATE THE REF - Jarred Gillett v Arsenal
That's a clear foul on Ramsey and he's ended up badly hurt. That's god awful refereeing at this level. Plus (as mentioned above) kicking the ball away when a free kick is awarded is a yellow card, but only in the first half it seems, which is weird!

Came across this on FB and agree 100%. Don’t know what the state of play is with English kids football but this should be the norm. Saw a piece today on Irish tv about the number of children giving up sport before secondary school. Situations like this could be a major cause of that. IMG_3943.jpeg ...

The back 4 has steadily improved. Some of it to do with getting better players in there and some of it to do with building on experience (O'Shea for example) We're not too far away there, but the trouble is defending isn't just about the back 4. It's primarily the back 5 and that 5th element is seri...

We've ended up with a huge squad and I'm struggling to name one who is absolutely, nailed on, no debate, PL standard! I've no problem with the amount of change if it enhanced us ready for the hugely increased challenges of the PL, bearing in mind that I believed VK would know which players can look great in the Championship without having what it takes to cut it in the PL. What went wrong however was that we simply...

Saying "the majority of fans are in favour of VAR" is like announcing the results of a Russian general election. You struggle to actually find anyone who is in favour despite the "landslide" verdict.

Ramsey and Amdouni are passengers in this team currently. I can’t really criticise Vitinho because he is neither a RB or LB. The problem is not just playing four regular defenders. It's playing four GOOD regular defenders. None of our defenders has proved to be good enough most of the time - none of them. That's why VK has had to bring in two more on loan to try and improve things. Roberts - not good enough and now gone....
