My understanding is prosecution for manslaughter not fraud. I don't believe that the police went out that day to cause multiple deathsmikeS wrote:Police changing statements was not a tragic accident.

I wish they would let this lie. And yes if it was my family I would, both sides were to blame and I don't see what good finger pointing at this stage is going to come of this. Put it down to what it was, a tragic accident

Re: Aberdeen v Burnley - Ticket Information
In the scenario where you have purchased a ticket for someone else, and then they get arrested, it will be your loyalty points and reputation on the line and I suspect you’d also face a ban from games for doing so - that’s not a risk I would take, perhaps you would? Has someone ever been arrested f...

Hypothetical question: If the first referendum didn't happen and the UK government invoked article 50 without one, would you then support a referendum on a choice between the final Brexit deal vrs. remaining in the EU? Here is to your hypothesis: A) the first referendum did happen B) why would arti...

C'mon CT, you must have known because of various other threads this was a flier. Plenty in the keep net. The only question is will u let them go? Personally I liked Jensen, even felt sorry for him after his last game at Barnsley, because the ten in front of hie were no better

Not sure why anyone would sell our players for mega bucks. Surely it would weaken the team and its not like we are going to spend the same for a replacement. BFC ain't short of cash, quality maybe.

Re: Project fear aka pure political fantasy..
Only my opinion but local politicians should be paid full time as many have other jobs, then they can be made accountable (paid for by the council) . There is a complete lack of information and a leaflet through the door April /May does not cut it. As for using Scotland, Ireland and the NHS as a foo...

Don't bring information into this. Knowing something makes you an expert in Brexiteers' eyes. And we both know what they think of experts. Best thing to do is just let them walk off a cliff. They won't believe you when you say it'll hurt. But if you're quick enough you can get down to the bottom sa...

How goals change games. Moses should have even launched It, 2nd minute of injury time. All of a sudden 3-1 down although I didn't see the Chelsea collapse

England's Pope would have saved it. Yes the ball was moving but it was the middle of the net off over the keeper's head not top corner. Have to disagree

Re: Well done Jeremy Hunt with NHS pay.
Just to weigh in on this, a below inflation pay rise is hardly a way to thank nurses for their hard work after not receiving one for years. In my view this is further devaluing their job. A classic case of divide and conquer although I do commend the pay rise to the lowest bands as they are valued t...

Big Sam for me as well, play to your strengths. Too many teams want to mirror perfect football. Should England make any progress in Russia they won't beat them playing tic tac.

Re: Term time holiday dad loses court battle...
Simple answer, let people have holidays when they want and put 2 weeks on the end of the year for those that have missed course work/exams. Yes teachers would have to be flexible but do we not expect that of others who provide a 24 hour service such as police, nurses, doctors etc....

A finals day sounds good in principle. Hopefully stewards from the clubs will be there to nip trouble in the bud and not disgrace the sport. Granted you can drink all day anyway buy there will be 4 teams there, some with a tribal axe to grind. I agree clubs need to survive if visitors are taking alc...

Looking forward to the new season, sunny days and getting out of the house. I know nothing of the new teams but have voted for Burnley but watch Lowerhouse when away. Noted Great Harwood are second favourites. Are they good alongside Clitheroe? Also are they playing 20/20?
