To be fair, they could have brought Peter Shilton out of retirement and he could have kept a clean sheet in that game.Devils_Advocate wrote: ↑Sat Sep 05, 2020 7:10 pmSo what does the manager do now?

That there is the exact reason why Joe Gomez shouldn't be anywhere near the England squad. I honestly cannot understand what people see in the lad, got away with one yet again. I think having VVD alongside him in the Premier League is blurring people's vision.

I just wish he'd make a decision, this saga is rapidly becoming boring already, and it's taking up far too many column inches, yes it's Messi, but he's 33, and anyone that pays his release clause has more money than sense, sadly there is plenty of club owners who do have more money than sense in th...

I think Alex Scott is fantastic, very articulate - Micah Richards always seems to be a bit slow to think of something to say for me, can almost hear the cogs grinding. I think the one thing that will be missed, will be the chemistry - hopefully that's something they can build with a new team. We'll ...

Three right backs but no left backs in the squad either, curious choice I was about to post the same thing, to not even name a left back is curious, unless he expects the injured players to come back into contention in time? When we are saying badge on the left or right are we talking when wearing it or looking at it? I’ve always know it as on the left (wearing it) and I think most clubs have it there Traditionally the badge is always worn on the left breast, nearer the heart. In my 30+ years as a claret, nobody has come close in ability to Danny Ings. Sam Vokes has to get a mention though, fantastic servant to the club - even if he wasn't the "best ever centre forward".

How has that hand, blocking Jay's shot on goal not been given as a penalty? I appreciate it was completely accidental and he had no chance of getting his hand out of the way, but it stopped the shot on target? Genuine question, not sure of the rule.

I've always thought he's a quality player, can be a bit of a prick at times and throw himself on the floor for no reason - but aside from his obvious ability, he shows week in week out his desire and effort. I'd love us to have a player in our side with just half his attitude today.
