You could go to any academy in any of the top leagues in Europe and see quick, powerful young players who are technically competent, can do a gerzillion keepy uppies and can flick a football over their heads with their John Thomas. The problem is they also have to be able to defend, track a runner,...

Good post. I noted o my rating post that I cardd so little about the game that on around 60 mins I popped in my earphones and cranked up a spotify playlist. We are well and truly down - the Luton game was the final final nail for me and once we were 2 down there looked no way back at all. The team ...

He looked like a player to me, watched him closely second half from near the front of the CFS.
Assured, distributed pretty well and looks a fairly powerful unit.

The cost of replacing vk won’t be part of any thoughts. The patience and perseverance stem from employing a manager on the brief of heading up the project, to take the club from a to b within a reasonable timescale. We’re only at the start of it and they know vk is a rookie coach (with high potenti...

It's a long shot but one of my auction alerts for anything Burnley related threw this lot of three sets of WW2 medals coming up soon, the first group having belonged to a Burnley lad. I wonder if anybody on the board knew of the chap or knows his family and, if so, it might be a nice idea to let the...

We're far too passive at times. I'm not advocating reckless, red card stuff but we do need to disrupt sides a bit more.

It is odd because in the back of the album there's a footnote...
"In order to maintain authenticity, some of the players have been photographed in clothing which is not necessarily their official club colours."
Which doesn't seem to make any sense whatsoever.
Ah well, good times.

I don't think we'll be that far off especially if Everton and Forest get what they deserve.
No doubt we'll have a bit of a surge, most struggling teams do towards the end of the season but we have to put those chances away or we'll get nowhere.
We're not that bad a side.
