Re: MOTD
Does Zaha get a ban for diving for 1st pen? Looked to be on the way down before any contact. Very similar to the Smith claim for a penalty (not given) by Bournemouth last week, where he instead got booked for diving. Player on the way down before he gets touched despite fact that he would probably ...

Re: Ben Mee to WBA?
Why on earth would Ben Mee want to go to West Brom? Can’t imagine the money would be a huge amount better, his chances of getting into the England squad would be no better and the liklehood of him being relegated would probably be higher if he was to leave January. He would also have a much longer c...

Re: Didn't look good for Brady, hope he is ok
According to NHS, it normally takes 6 weeks to recover from a dislocated kneecap but if there is ligament damage as well then it will obviously take longer. Also need to balance the fact that he will have better medical care than most but ultimately needs the knee to stand up to more stresses and st...

All quiet on the Brady front
Unless I've missed it, then seems to have all gone a bit quiet about Brady's injury. I'm assuming if it was a simple break then we would have heard by now, which suggests it is more likely to be ligament / tendon damage for which they are waiting for the swelling to go down before they scan. Time wi...

Re: Should we go back to 2 points for a win?
Then your nearest rival in the league comes to your ground and puts 10 men behind the ball safe in the knowledge that they will gain a point on you for next to nothing. Doesn't work mate. However I do agree there should be more reward for an away win. Or they come and go for a win knowing they will...

Re: Should we go back to 2 points for a win?
So you go behind in a game at home, fight like hell to get back into it and finally get a late equaliser. Well done is the answer, but you are not getting any points. No chance, a home draw is a result and should be rewarded. No, not quite good enough is the answer. You need to fight harder and try...

Re: Winger replacements
Arfield has played a lot of Premier League games now, has had good ones and bad ones, but has shown that, on his day, he can be very effective as a left winger. Taylor and Wells have yet to play in the Premier League and neither would have left wing as their best position. Now it may be that both ca...

1st point, I would say that if we are to play SA, he would be best used where Hendrick is currently playing, which would then place Hendrick on the left, may not be so bad I suppose. 2nd. No difference to the city pen given against us. Just shows the big club biased refs. To be fair, Pope does catch the player in the City match but he seriously exaggerates the effect. Punditry in general is poor quality but Shearer really does add very little value. Personally, I think they should have three pundits on MOTD ... an ex manager to discuss tactics and formations, an ex player to discuss technique and positioning and an ex referee to discuss decisions.

Maybe proportionate...so small players like Sanchez get to stand closer than tall players. Had Mertersacker been playing then he would have been stood behind the goal.
