Re: David De Gea
There's a collision course with ten hag up ahead where they want to sign Muller or Messi or lewandowski etc and pay them more than those that are actually contributing to their getting points. Agree with the general point, but Messi would still be incredible in the PL, and better than 75% of the Ut...

Re: Does today's result really mean anything?
Strongly disagree on this, there's a higher upper end but also a much lower bottom end as we've been seeing. Dyche for years was about as consistent as you could get, a team built on not losing and trying to win on tight margins by maximising the analytical, tactical and physical side to get a lot ...

Yeh, I know mate, I saw the pass, point is I don't see how it inflates his prestige by that much, because speaking more generally he's been fairly terrible this season.

I dunno, I think we see ten of those balls a game and within ten seconds forget every single one of them that is defended well enough, or where the runner makes a mess of it. Selection bias. He's okay. I'm not having that his pass for Laarsen's goal was some exquisite work of beauty though. It was a long ball down the channel and Laarsen did his man for pace. No complaints because a goal's a goal, but still. Good player to have on the books, but I really want Ekdal back in the team.

Felt like the players set out to put right the last 10 mins of West Ham. Rubbish opponent, 10 men (even though we were 2-0 up when McBurnie was sent off), we finished ahead of SheffU last season blah blah blah, but when all is said and done 5-0 is impressive under any set of circumstances, and if th...

Whether you're relegated on goal difference or relegated with 4pts, you're still relegated. What if you cobble together some old, technically limited journeymen and get relegated on goal difference playing terror football. Proper nonsense this spiral - I can’t even be arsed to properly retort either. Think McNeil played over 130 games for us from age 19-23 or so? It wouldn't matter who we got unless they were strong enough to change the ways, the owners want to do things. They have gone too extreme in football terms to try to make a lot of money, quickly. Sacking him after we lose to SheffU will be a bigger blunder with more costly long-term term consequences than the hypothetical loss to SheffU itself, which is recoverable, and might be of limited consequences if results go our way next weekend.

Don't overcomplicate it. We have really young players, we're giving them a baptism of fire, no stabilisers, no hand-holding, just let them play, fk up, get better, play again, fk up again, play again... We're a prestige version of Dario Grady-era Crewe. Forget immediate results, see how far a young team can go type of thing. Sacking Vinny right now is an abandoned of that, then we become any other shite PL team, except we're miles from safety, and we have loads of debt anyway so what's the differen...
