One more - "you couldn't write it" or "you wouldn't believe it!"
A footballer scoring a goal in a football game. I can believe it.

Top, top.
Top, top player. Top, top manager. Top, top team.
Drives me insane.
And describing midfielders as 8s or 6s etc.

Surely the project relies heavily on staying in the Premier League for more than one limp, lacklustre season? Sure, yo-yo, bounce back etc etc. Fair enough. But the whole model underpinning whatever specifically the project is depends hugely on the finances and exposure the Premier League provides.

Baby steps.
1. Players who run.
2. Players who tackle.
3. Players who can defend set pieces.
All three would be huge improvements on this season and anything else a bonus.

Not exactly sure on the team but at least six of them will look forlornly at each other as Trafford picks himself off the ground in another postcode while an Arsenal player sprints away to celebrate after nodding in a free header.

Slept on it. Trafford - 4 Assignon - 6 O'Shea - 4 Ekdal - 4 Vitinho - 3 - would be lower if I could. He's gone from Championship bit part, back up to Premier League starter but I'm not convinced he's even League One. Abysmal. Kompany spoke midweek how pace, intensity and getting around the pitch is more important than experience. So where is it in this team? Fulham first to every ball.
