Surely the project relies heavily on staying in the Premier League for more than one limp, lacklustre season? Sure, yo-yo, bounce back etc etc. Fair enough. But the whole model underpinning whatever specifically the project is depends hugely on the finances and exposure the Premier League provides.

Very envious. I was in a play a few steps from Times Square, lived across from Central Park, somewhere I'd definitely not have stayed if not for work. Never had much interest in NYC before but straight off the plane it hits you, like a film set on every corner. Enjoy!!

Looks a decent signing in a position we needed to improve upon. He and Estéve need to be superstars though if they're going to make us better in central midfield, left back and up front as well.

If vk wanted a ‘proper rb’ Roberts would be starting each game from what we have, an improving Vitinhio offers more of the other aspects vk wants from a full back. Hence why he plays. It's really pretty poor that we could finish below Sheffield United (possibly) and Luton (more and more likely) after being streets ahead of them a year ago. Especially Luton. But they're everything we're not this season and three words come to mind - identity, effective, savvy.
