Re: U21 v Liverpool - Updates
Watching the game here on the Costa del Sol, the most promising players for the Clarets appear to be Massenga, Logan Pyle (a footballing centre back) and Tweedy when he gets the ball wide. Darko has been a bit disappointing, not really making any impact and losing possession too often. I understand ...

I was in the Underground Bar with the Benalmadena Clarets today for the game and we all said the noise and atmosphere for the match sounded great. We could hear the chanting throughout the game and we were happy to join in from 1500 miles away.

I genuinely felt very sorry for Vincent and the team after today's performance, albeit against a poor West Ham team. I actually live in Torrequebrada which is just outside Benalmadena going towards Fuengirola. We have lived here full time for 11 years, though we owned properties in the area for some 40 years. So, after retiring and our kids having flown the nest we decided to give a go full time: we have been here...

Our last year's team was a joy to watch, it was perfectly balanced with a blend of experience and young, talented players, and the each member of the team knew what his role was as well as that of his team mates. This has been replaced by signing a lot of inexperienced, light weight youngsters from ...

Not a bad overall performance from 10 of the team, but if Trafford starts the next game before Muric then there are serious questions to be asked about VK's judgement/stubborness. Why oh why didn't we spend the Trafford money on Tella?!!

That's weird, because Koleosho, Amdouni and Berge all started in the team that beat Luton. Why the f.ck was Cullen marking Tarkowski at the back post? That is poor tactics and planning and simply should not happen. You have to blame the coaching team for that.

Much better first half performance than of late. Some of the football was reminiscent of last season, with Muric, Berge, Laarsen and Delcroix all playing well. I feel much safer and relaxed with Muric in goal, whilst Berge has looked like a PL midfielder. We can get a result here.
