I like him but he's only had one good season and is unproven at PL level. I always thought he was a red card waiting to happen but he looked more disciplined and noticably leaner and fitter last season. 20 is plenty imo but it's Leeds prerogative. I don't see him rocking the boat to leave either. On...

Phillip Billing gone to Bournemouth for £15 million. Should have been ours in my opinion. Not sure if he woulda, coulda, or shoulda been ours but he looked like a realistic prospect that would have ticked a number of our boxes. He did, however, look poor in what I saw of him in the U21 Euros. UTC!

No, I wouldn't if I was them as moving to a different area could be fatal for the club. You can't guarantee that area would support the club. You have introduced new terms. I asked if you would swap an uncertain £50k pa for £1m in abstract. I didn't ask if the cricket club should move. What is the ...

So you wouldn't swap an uncertain £50k per year for £1m? The numbers are purely illustrative...just saying the finances of this thing are evidently surmountable.

No inference that it wouldn't be safe, but that building regs wouldn't allow it now. As for incentives to the cricket club, I'm not sure how much land you could take from them before it has a damaging effect on their ground. We bought some extra land off them to build the current cricket field stan...

I don't think there is a better time to replace it, but with what? As I said above, I think space would have to be allocated to allow people to get behind it whereas that is on the cricket ground currently. I was told, and I'm sure by Fletcher, that building one with the turnstiles at either end no...

They do have every right. Believe Flood & Fletcher tried to bully them a bit a few years ago. If we were to replace the cricket field stand on the same footprint we would have to put turnstiles at the back of it which would mean a smaller stand in terms of depth. Maybe that's a price worth paying f...
