Nick Pope has played 21 games for Newcastle this season and kept 13 clean sheets, 10 in the PL and 3 in the Carabao Cup.
He has not conceded a goal in his last seven matches ----but his kicking isn't very good! What a bloody joke!

Re: Season comparison
I could probably work it out but does anyone know how many games we have gone now without losing at home in the Championship? The last time we lost in the Championship was 27 games ago on 5 December 2015 against Preston who scored two second half goals to win 2-0. IN the 9 games previous to that we...

Re: RATE THE REF - Keith Stroud v Stoke City
I am still trying to work out if the law has changed over how far away a player should stand at a free kick. Every one we had away from their box they were about 2 yards away. Just watch every game you can from PL downwards and nobody ever retreats the 10 yards and the officials do nothing about it...

Pause it between 7/8 seconds and you'll see the full back is deeper than Jay Rod, onside imho. Onside as far as the onfield officials are concerned and that is what matters. No stupid drawing of lines and VAR involvement, they ae not needed! The game survived 136 years without VAR, however, will it...

Probably a combination of leaving his leg in and the ball being pretty much out of play gave enough doubt not to give it. THank you very much to the Pakistani commentator who was just singing the praises of Saud Shakeel for what he had done in two test matches but managed to put the curse on his batting partner Imam who was out as they spoke.

We need to apply ourselves without being silly with shots as we were in the last match. 8.45 per over is not beyond us.
