Just saw this yesterday and was sad to read of his passing.
Saw him performaing with various outfits back in the 1960s and he has certainly 'done a bit' during his long time in the business.

Shout out for Under 18s

Our Youth team beat Wolves 1-0 this afternoon to make it four undefeated.
Will Hugill scored the goal in the second half and our keeper, Harry Moss, making a return to the team saved a penalty.
Earlier in the season we lost to Wolves 0-3 away from home. A good afternoon for we Clarets.

How did we win the cautions 3-1? Vydra possibly and Barnes for winding them up. Charlie gets booked for time wasting, however, Wolves committed 7 fouls and 4 of those were by Hwang Hee-Chan who argued the case on two of them but escapes a caution.

Ashington v Newton Aycliffe --a game between 6th and 7th in the Northern League Division 1.
Ashington had been going great until a run of 3 successive league defeats has seen them drop down from 3rd to 7th in the table. Goals are almost guaranteed with 88 scored on 20 matches at Woodhorn Road.

Saw him play quite a number of times and he was a very uncompromising left back in a day when tackles were accepted as the 'norm' and football was a very different game to its modern form.
