Sell anyone and everyone of any value appears to be the policy. It clearly is. And from the bland acceptance in evidence here, you'd have to suspect that no club that's ever been relegated from the Prem has ever been able to hang on to any of its best players. Some evidence of actions taken by the ...

The biggest negative for me has been the hesitancy around the ground just to celebrate a goal. In the back of your mind you’re always expecting a goal to be checked for one thing or another. Realist here.
If we were to lose Taylor and one of McNeil/Cornet then I'll be having a flutter on relegation.
The clearout has gone beyond sensible. Stick Hennessy back in there and a defence lead by Collins with Pieters as utility backup would look a bit more like.
Bottom half as it stands.

People seem extremely willing to accept that this is going to be a rebuilding season where promotion isn't the aim It'd be just as well not to mention that in the blurb on the ST sales page. If I thought for one minute that the club weren't arsed about promotion I wouldn't set foot in the place.

Coventry have spent most of the last 10 seasons grubbing around the lower leagues whilst trying to hang on to their souless, two thirds - empty football ground cum shopping centre.
We've spent most of it in the Premier League.
We're a big deal at this level. For now at least.
They, simply, aren't.

As the 3rd relegated PL side, we should be bang on favourites to lift the title. The fact we're like 6th favourites in the betting and some fans seem happy with mid table suggests something has gone seriously wrong somewhere. . Bang on the money.
